Artist Statement
I believe we live in a mathematical universe where everything is connected. The cosmologist Max Tegmark writes, “We don’t invent mathematical structures – we discover them.” I am not a mathematician, and as an artist I research this subject in my own way by drawing and painting diverse mathematical structures. In this way I try to understand something about the universe we live in but the universe cannot be grasped with our minds. I’m inspired by its incomprehensible greatness!
